'A Look Back in CCCD History'

​To help celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Columbia County Conservation District (CCCD), we will be highlighting a few moments from history at the CCCD throughout the year!

​Here is a look back to February 1979, when Don Edwards, current CCCD Chairman, was first sworn in as a member of the board of directors. Don served as an associate director before he became a voting member of the board, and has served as chairman since 2014. We are extremely grateful to have someone as dedicated to agriculture and conservation in Columbia County as Don is, and we thank him for over 45 years of service to the CCCD! Also in the picture is F.C. "Ted" Hack, who was sworn in as a director in January 1979. Mr. Hack also served as chairman from 1986-1991.
