ATTENTION STUDENTS INTERESTED IN THE ENVIRONMENT!
Applications are due April 11, 2025
  • = Edgar “Ted” Fenstermacher Scholarship:
  • available to high school seniors planning to pursue a degree in agriculture
  • $500 toward college tuition
  • students must provide an acceptance letter from the college/university
Lavere McClure Scholarship:
  •  available to high school seniors planning to pursue a degree in education with the intent to teach natural, environmental, and/or agricultural sciences. 
  • $500 toward college tuition
  • students must provide an acceptance letter from the college/university
Maryruth Wagner Scholarship:
  • available to high school seniors planning to pursue a degree in environmental sciences.

In addition to academic scholarships, the CCCD will award scholarships towards tuition at the Wildlife Leadership Academy.  Two $300 scholarships will be awarded to help pay for tuition to the school.  Only one scholarship awarded per individual towards the program.​
  • Wildlife Leadership Academy
  • A year round program, the Academy begins with rigorous summer field schools that focus on wildlife/fisheries biology and conservation as well as leadership skills development and continues with community outreach through education, service, media engagement, creative arts, and outdoor mentorship.
  • Available to 14-17 year-old students with an interest in wildlife and/or fisheries conservation and the outdoors.
